Comment from Terry Haaf:

I hear it correctly Jonathan; Jesus alone saves; boom done, as you would say. But upon contemplating your prayer of other people receiving the gospel as it’s truly written, I can’t help but painfully see how so many Christians interpret it wrongly; it’s what they were taught by their spiritual mentors. I’ve been a Christian all my life and yet it wasn’t until I walked through the doors of our church that I heard the good news of God’s saving grace. After hearing it, it took me years to really believe that my salvation was not hinged on my good works and perfection here on earth as a precursor to heaven. I praise God that I am a true believer now, thanking Him daily for His unearned love and forgiveness! My mission is to open the ears of others to hear the gospel as it is truly written and not falsely interpreted.

Comment from Pat Fredrick:

Darkness does seem to be our lot. However, without time in the darkness..the light would not be so bright. I am so thankful for the time the Light of Christ shines so bightly and for those glimpses of understanding. Not to mention the people God has put into my life to help me recognize that His light is always surronding us. We just need to open our eyes and minds.

Comment from Terry Haaf:

Thank you for the reminder that Jesus’ ministry on earth was to reach the imperfect; the sinners and outcasts. We often are reminded that the church is a hospital for sinners but I never looked at it from the point that the church was born of sinners. Praise the Lord for His unending grace and patience as I walk, stumble and fall in my efforts to emulate His love for ALL people; perfect and imperfect!

Comment from Buck Rosenberger:

It would take too long to describe how much has changed and how much more still needs to be done.  This lenten season my prayer in the morning and evening is “not my will but yours”.  It is easy to say, but hard to do.  Lord fill me with your spirit and shape me into the disciple who can be a blessing to you.
